Text: “I’m a trans woman in Charlotte, NC. My partner and I have been subleasing a condo that belongs to my friend for about a month now. Today I was told that my friend is moving to a new place in another town and that her parents are selling the house. We will once again be homeless on January 25, 2019. In the meantime we are trying to raise as much money that I can because the weather is freezing and staying outside is not an option. The men’s shelter is too violent especially for a disabled trans woman of color. 2018 was a very traumatic year and we have experienced housing a food insecurity for the majority of it. All funds raised will go towards food and money for another sublease/ an extended stay hotel. Please retweet/reblog we are terrified.”
